Small Wild Cats of Eurasia Database

The Small Wild Cats of Eurasia Database was created. This is an automated system on the base of cartographic server Google Maps made for entering, storage and sorting data on species sightings by wide auditory, and also preparing reports on these sightings.

First this DB was planned for entering data on Pallas’s cat but then enlarged in order to keep data on other rare small wild cats. Sometimes data on sightings of such species remains in photos and field reports but it’s quite important for understanding species status especially of endangered ones.

We invite small wild cats observers to join this DB managing. Short guidelines are available at the website of Pallas Cat Study and Conservation Program I’ll try to answer all questions concerning this database and its work.

Do you get a free trip to the Pallas’ cat study site in Daurski Zapovednik if you submit 25 records? 😉
