Batting in the South of France
I spent last weekend around Toulon on the mediterranean coast of France, chasing bats with Jean-Michel Bompar. He managed to find 10 species of bats for me – 6 of them lifers including European Free-tailed, Bechstein’s, Grey Long-eared and Lesser Mouse-eared. A great weekend… and a report is at the top of my French page.
